Achievement Certificates
Graduating from Golf Academy of America with an associate's degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management (GCOM) is an accomplishment in itself. But graduating with one of these certificates may increase your marketability in the golf field of your choice. Here are the qualifications.
Teaching Certificate
- Have a cumulative grade of 3.5 GPA or better in select classes
- Have the following handicap index by graduation: Men = USGA index of 8.0 or below; Women = USGA index of 15.0 or below
- Score 90% or better on Golf Academy of America Comprehensive Advance Teaching Certification exam
Club Repair and Fitting Certificates
- Achieve a grade of 3.5 GPA or better in select classes
- Complete assigned Club Repair Term Paper
- Score 90% or better on Golf Academy of America Comprehensive Club Repair and Fitting Exam
General Management Certificate
- Have a cumulative grade of 3.5 GPA or better in select classes
- Score 90% or better on Golf Academy of America General Management Exam
Tournament Operations Certificate
- Have a cumulative grade of 3.5 GPA or better in select classes
- Score 90% or better on Golf Academy of America Comprehensive Tournament Operations Exam
