Jennifer Alexander

Graduate of Golf Academy of America in San Diego

LPGA Teaching Professional

Current Employer: Las Vegas Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada

“The best thing I have done for my profession in golf is to go to the Golf Academy of America,” says Jennifer Alexander. She was a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who had also worked in the corporate world before deciding to pursue her passion in golf.

Today, you’ll find her working as an LPGA Teaching Professional at Las Vegas Golf Club, a Casey O'Callahan-designed course opened in 1945. She built her golf career by recognizing and adapting to golfers’ individual learning styles. “It's all about the golfer I am working with,” says Alexander. “It's not about me.”

Alexander, who received The LPGA USGA Girls Golf 2017 Sandy LaBauve Spirit Award, advises recent graduates to go through the PGA or LPGA program as soon as possible. “You will waltz through either program, as you have covered all of the material,” she says. “Get your Class A membership and it will carry you far in the golf profession.”
