Welcome to the Golf Academy of America website. As a lifelong educator and someone who is passionate about golf, I can say with great confidence that there's never been a better time to enter the golf industry nor a better place to start than GAA.
How do I know?
For 20 years I worked at the PGA of America and participated in numerous projects to help change the face of PGA education. That was after serving for 10 years as assistant golf professional, head professional and general manger. At the PGA, I had the opportunity to assist in the development of what is now known as the Professional Golf Management Program. Other important educational goals were reached during my time as the PGA's Managing Director of Membership Programs.
These programs are very good for those seeking PGA Membership. But to prepare for a lifelong golf career, the Golf Academy of America educational curriculum is the best of any two-year golf management school. The 1200 hours of business and golf instruction prepares individuals like you for a fulfilling career doing what you love. Our faculty and staff are superb and over 40 PGA professionals are employed to teach the golf management and instruction courses. Industry experts teach the other courses in preparing you to run a small business operation.
Plus, you'll have the opportunity to play golf at least twice weekly, have unlimited indoor and outdoor practice and receive unlimited instruction. This will surely help improve your game as you work toward graduation!
From your first day on campus, your golf career is our priority. Our National Career Services Director and the Director of Career Services at each campus work hard to help you find your place in the $76 billion golf industry.
