Golf Academy of America Staff Attend, Exhibit at PGA Merchandise Show

Staff members from Golf Academy of America were very visible at the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida. In addition to manning a booth on the show floor, GAA President Chris Hunkler and other staff members hosted an open house for alumni, students, and representatives from companies who hire graduates.40,000 PGA Professionals, retailers, manufacturers and industry executives attended the show January 29 -- 30 at the Orange County Convention Center. The Golf Channel broadcasted nightly reports on "Golf Central" during the show as well as a one-hour PGA Merchandise Show special hour-long wrap-up on Saturday evening. More than 1,000 members of the media from every U.S. state and some 25 countries covered the event, which featured the latest golf equipment, accessories and fashions, plus industry news.
