While America’s pass time might be baseball, many people tune into this sport to watch, not necessarily play. There is another sport, however, that Americans are taking a swing at. This particular sport is golf. The young and old alike find joy in playing golf, but now more than ever individuals are making a career out of it as well. A Golf Management college is where students go to gain experience in the golf field so that they can one day manage their own golf course. It gives students the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the golf industry.

However, if an individual wishes to travel the world and live in warm, exotic places, golf makes that possible as well. Places such as Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina base most of their tourism opportunities on year round golf. More exotic places such as Hawaii are also abundant in golf.
Course work in a golf related program focuses around the golf game itself, but also incorporates business and management course work. Classes consist of golf fundamentals, leadership development, golf management and communications. A Golf Management college gives students skills necessary to being successful in the golf industry, as well as everyday life.
