Golf Academy of America (GAA), a golf business school with locations in four golf-friendly locations, has announced a strategic partnership with K-Motion Interactive (KMI) to provide the company's 3D motion technology to its students. The K-VEST TPI 3D system uses wireless sensors and state-of-the-art teaching software that enables students to measure swing efficiency and improve it through real-time visual and audio feedback.
"We recognize the importance of keeping our students current on the latest technology," says GAA President Chris Hunkler. "This partnership will help assure our graduates are better equipped to succeed in the competitive golf industry."
Tony Morgan, KMI's Director of Business Development and a 1998 GAA graduate, comments, "We are excited to develop a strategic relationship with Golf Academy of America. This business relationship will provide GAA students and graduates with an opportunity to further impact the game's next generation of players."
Over 900 Professionals now employ the K-VEST system so the real-life experiences will allow students to be better prepared for the technology they will encounter when they graduate. Each campus's teaching staff will undergo a two-day certification program designed to provide them with an in-depth understanding of the 3D-motion analysis technology.
Students will be able to receive special GAA pricing on K-Motion Interactive's 3D technology hardware, software and services. They will also have the opportunity to attend K-VEST Level 1 and Level 2 certification programs for continuing education.
