PHOENIX, Ariz. – Education is the name of the game at the Golf Academy of America (GAA), so it is only fitting that GAA hosts their first-ever seminar for the Southwest Section of the PGA of America on Monday October 20, 2008. Free to all PGA members and led by `instructor Todd Sones, seminar topics cover teaching methods and ways to increase instruction revenue.
Named Illinois 'PGA Teacher of the Year' twice, Todd Sones is known as one of the top teachers in America. In addition to receiving the Horton Smith Award and publishing over 70 instructional articles and 2 books, Todd also developed and patented the Tri-Fit method of fitting putters.
"As the Golf Academy of America is recognized for our track record of producing top-notch talent for the golf industry, we feel it is fitting that we host seminars such as this one aimed to expand and improve teaching methods. Led by instructors with reputations like Todd's, GAA is able to continue the tradition of educational excellence." says Tim Eberlein, PGA Master Professional and Director of Golf at the GAA campus in Phoenix.
A two-year golf college, the Golf Academy of America prepares students for a rewarding career in the golf industry. For more information on GAA, please visit www.golfacademy.edu. To learn more about Todd Sones, go to www.toddsones.com.
