Golf Academy/Phoenix Grad Featured in Hometown Article

A recent graduate of the Golf Academy of America's Phoenix, Arizona, campus has recently returned to the area of his hometown as an assistant golf professional at a legendary golf course. Darren Workman is now at work at his new position at Muirfield Village, near Columbus, Ohio, a course designed by Jack Nicklaus, who lives nearby. It is host to the Memorial Tournament PGA Tour event each year. Nicklaus was one of Workman's boyhood heroes and partly responsible for his pursuing a career in golf.Workman's story was recently highlighted in The Mount Vernon News, an area newspaper.
As the article mentions, one of the highlights of Workman's job at Muirfield Village so far was the opportunity to meet and talk with Nicklaus. One of the course's spectacular golf holes is shown here.
