In a road trip that will benefit students at all four Golf Academy of America locations, 2009 PGA Teacher of the Year Mike Bender will share his unique golf teaching methods over the next few weeks.  Bender will discuss his teaching philosophies and give students numerous ideas that will help them to be more successful with their careers in the business of golf. Mike also shared firsthand knowledge of how he has coached several of the top players on the PGA and LPGA Tours. Mike was recently recognized by the PGA of America as the Teacher of the Year in 2009. He is also ranked as a top 10 golf instructor by Golf Magazine.

Mike personally designed the MEGSA (Most Efficient Golf Swing Attainable) system as an all-in-one training aid. He will demonstrate several of the many drills and applications to cure specific swing errors. Students Derek Skidmore and Carlos Castro at the Orlando, Florida, Golf Academy of America location, had a unique opportunity to receive a lesson on the MEGSA from Mike. Carlos commented that "it was a dream of a lifetime" to get some help from Bender.

All four Golf Academy of America campuses have installed the MEGSA system in their training centers and they are being used frequently by the students as they develop and improve their swing mechanics.
