Golf Academy of America (GAA) recently named Buck Page as its National Career Services Director, and he is already in the position, assisting graduates and alumni from the schools in finding careers in the golf industry. Page is the former Program Director at the San Diego, California campus.
"This new position will allow me to perform services for all four GAA campus locations," Page says. "I will be responsible for expanding national employment opportunities for GAA grads, working alongside the Career Service Director at each campus."
Page brings to the position over 25 years of experience in the golf business in a variety of positions including Director of Golf, General Manager, and a Vice President. He has had the opportunity to work for a variety of golf course owners, individual owners, management companies, and international owners.
"This experience has given me the knowledge of the requirements at each type of facility and ownership," Page notes. "I have been an active member of the PGA, serving on both the chapter and section board of directors, and have chaired both employment and education committees of the PGA section."
