MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., March, 16, 2015 - Golf Academy of America Myrtle Beach Campus will hold a Grand Opening at its new facility. The school moved its Grand Strand campus to a new location on Jan.26, 2015 to provide the finest learning environment for those eager to jump into the golf industry.
The Grand Opening will take place at the campus located at 1900 Mr. Joe White Ave., in Myrtle Beach on Friday, March 27 from 4: 00 to 6 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:15 p.m. The event is open to the public at no charge.
Golf Academy of America Director and PGA Master Professional Tim Eberlein Receives Horton Smith Award for Improving Golf Industry Education
PHOENIX, February 11, 2015 – The Southwest PGA Section has announced Tim Eberlein, campus director of the Golf Academy of America's Phoenix, Ariz. campus, as the recipient of the 2015 Horton Smith Award. Eberlein, received the award for his contributions to improving education opportunities for PGA golf professionals.
During the four years that Eberlein served as education chair of the Southwest Section PGA Board of Directors, he coordinated 40 PGA section education seminars and two education/teaching summits.
