SDGA-San Diego GM250 Field Trip Summary

The San Diego Golf Academy – San Diego 3rd semester students visited Twin Oaks on September 20th to tour the golf course maintenance facilities. John Tomlinson, Golf Course Superintendent toured students around the maintenance facility to explain Twin Oaks computerized irrigation system, various mowers, avenues of staff communication, and budgetary concerns. Students were able to ask various questions and relate the visit to class discussions. Kevin Neisch, PGA, Associate Director SDGA – San Diego Campus attended the visit with the students.
