In 2005, David Largent, a graduate of SDGA - San Diego, started a golf distribution company called Sports Life Asia, Ltd. In late 2006, fellow graduate, Edmond Wu, originally from Hong Kong, joined the company as a director.
Sports Life Asia holds exclusive distribution rights in Hong Kong, Macau, and China for Yes! Putters and Rife Putters along with a range of other brands like Accu-Length Junior Clubs, Explanar, and some accessories. They are adding more brands and products as deemed suitable for their markets as they continue to grow.
Sports Life Asia also acts as a regional warehouse for both Yes! and Rife in the Asian territories that they serve on a regular basis.
"We see the China and Asian markets as growing markets in the world for golf," says David. "We see tremendous opportunities for the right companies and we are here to facilitate that connection between US/European companies looking for someone to manage their interests and build their brand through our connections and local knowledge."
With Edmond overseeing the Chinese side of the business and David handling the US/European side, they bring the two opportunities together to provide proper distribution according to what the brands expect and what the markets need.
