SDGA - San Diego Campus Student Body Visits Titleist Performance Institute

On Tuesday, July 24th, Dave Phillips, PGA Member and Co-Founder of PTI, Dr. Greg Rose, Co-Founder of PTI, and Lance Gill, Athletic Trainer of TPI spoke to the entire student body of the San Diego Golf Academy – San Diego Campus. 4th Semester students were able to get one-on-one time touring the Titleist Test and TPI Headquarters after the presentation to ask additional questions and see where the tour professionals train and practice in all course conditions. Students were presented with theory and principles of the Titleist Performance Institute. TPI is one of the most technologically advanced golf evaluation programs in existence focusing on swing efficiency, conditioning, and custom equipment fitting.
Rich Iorio, Campus Director is a certified Titleist Performance Institute PGA Professional and currently utilizes the TPI at the San Diego campus by taking students through the TPI golf-specific physical evaluation and designs a custom golf conditioning program for the betterment of any students taking advantage of this tool at the San Diego Campus.
Dave is a Class A PGA Member and faculty member of the PGA of America while devoting the past sixteen years to becoming a world-class instructor. He is one of the most sought after golf instructors in the country and is rated one of the Top 100 Teachers in the country by Golf Magazine. He has also been the host of Golf Fitness Academy on The Golf Channel.

Greg Rose is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic. Greg specializes in 3-D biomechanics, strength and conditioning, manual therapy, rehabilitation, nutritional supplementation and therapeutic exercises as they relate to golf. Over the past eight years he has helped over 500 professional golfers and 3,000 amateurs reach their peak performance through physical conditioning and nutritional support. His unique form of functional training combined with golf-specific motor learning drills has made him one of the top strength and conditioning coaches for golf in the United States.
