Golf Academy of America is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Two academic years (16 months) is the standard length of the program.

The occupational objective of the two-academic-year Associate of Applied Business Degree Program is Golf Complex Operations and Management, with two areas of emphasis: Golf Professional and General Management. The curriculum is designed to balance classroom studies with practical experience and a comprehensive understanding of golf.

This program of study is designed to prepare students for the types of occupations listed below.   • A job placement rate of 78.05% (Orlando) was also provided to the Florida Commission for Independent Education.  This rate is calculated including students who graduated from the program of study between 7/1/2010-6/30/2011. This rate does not include graduates who obtained employment after the placement reporting period ended. The placement percentage is calculated by number placed divided by final number of graduates. Final number of graduates is determined by the total graduates minus those unavailable due to circumstances such as health issues, death, continuing education or military service.   • A job placement rate of 76.74% (Phoenix) was also provided to the Arizona State Board of Private Postsecondary Education. This rate includes students who graduated from the program of study between 7/1/2010-6/30/2011. The placement rate was calculated by dividing the number of graduates placed in field or in a related field by the total number of graduates available for employment, excluding graduates defined as unavailable for placement due to circumstances, such as death, military, or continuing education.
