Bachelor's Degree Program

After you complete your associate's degree at Golf Academy of America, you may choose to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Golf Course Management online, through Virginia College.

This advanced golf degree is for those who want to increase their potential advancement in the golf industry. This Bachelor's Degree in Golf Course Management allows those who have completed a golf associate's degree to "step up their game" in the business and management aspects that golf employers often seek in senior management personnel. And because the program is online, working golf professionals and others can learn at their pace and in their locale--wherever there's an Internet connection!

This bachelor's program usually takes two academic years to complete. It is offered by Virginia College*, one of the nation's premier career colleges, and is designed to prepare you to manage any of the thousands of golf facilities or businesses around the world. Graduates of the program often qualify for assistant managerial positions and rise within the industry.

The program includes courses in organizational communications, human resource management, quality control, strategic management, and other business and general education topics. It is offered only in the online format, but to qualify for admission, candidates must have completed an associate of applied business degree in golf complex operations and management comparable to the one offered by Golf Academy of America.
