Myrtle Beach Grad Enjoys Career as Master Club Fitter
Sep 7, 2016
When Brett Castleberry started at Golf Academy of America, like most college students he probably didn’t have an exact idea of where he saw himself after graduation. One thing was for sure — Brett had a passion for the game and chose Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach to launch a career in the golf industry.
While his curriculum exposed him to many areas of the golf industry, Brett started utilizing the skills learned from Golf Club Fitting and Repair classes right away as he began working at Golfsmith while still in school. Brett found his focus and spent many hours in the Myrtle Beach campus’ club repair lab getting the hands-on training that he would eventually employ each day in his new career. After graduating in 2015, Golfsmith immediately hired Brett full-time in their club fitting group.
Now a Master Club Fitter with the company, Brett is the go-to expert for golfers in Myrtle Beach looking to step up their golf game with custom-fitted clubs. Brett goes over the goals and abilities of his customers in order build a set uniquely designed for them.
