GAA Announces Roadshows: Instructor on Course

Golf Academy of America is excited to announce that we will be hosting roadshow events around the country to inform prospective students about the benefits of attending golf college. The anticipated events will take place July 20-Aug. 10.

Many of these open house-style events will be held at various Topgolf locations. At each event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about what Golf Academy of America offers students, including the school’s partnership with New England College of Business.

The informational sessions will also include discussions on the different career paths in the $76 billion golf industry, and PGA professionals will speak about the value of golf-specific training. Additionally, many of the events feature contests or putting clinics.

The roadshow will begin in Texas; events are planned in Houston (July 20), San Antonio (July 21), Austin (July 27), El Paso (Aug 4), Fort Worth (Aug 3) and Dallas (Aug 10). The tour will also feature events in Alexandria, Virginia (July 27), Jacksonville, Florida (Aug 3), Charlotte, North Carolina (Aug 3), Las Vegas, Nevada (Aug 3), Sacramento, California (Aug 4) and Tucson, Arizona (Aug 3).

“We want to get the word out to as many people as possible that golf can be more than just a passion — it can be a career,” says Steve Newman, Golf Academy of America National Director of Operations. “At Golf Academy of America, we teach the business of golf, the technology of golf and more. Our graduates are working some of the top golf jobs in the country.”
