Jaime Engelkemier started playing golf with her dad and sister at a young age and went on to play Division I college golf at the University of Northern Colorado. There, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in coaching. Englekemier later attended Golf Academy of America in San Diego, where she received the President’s Award. She is now a U.S. Kids Golf certified coach and an LPGA Class A Teaching & Club Professional.

Engelkemier now is the Head Teaching Professional at The Ranch at Laguna Beach and has also worked as the Director of Operations for the University of California, Irvine women's golf team. She says that her education at Golf Academy of America helped diversify her skills including club fitting.

She advises current students to invest their full efforts in their education. “Take the time to learn everything you can,” Engelkemier says. “Everything changes so fast, and you have to keep up on it.”
