What do you do as Assistant Golf Professional?
I manage the Pro Shop as well as handle club repairs. I am also currently building a client base for teaching.
How did Golf Academy of America prepare you for your current position?
Golf Academy of America gave me the tools needed in all areas of the industry to be successful. All the classes I took while at GAA have benefited me in my career. GAA was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to make golf a career.
What were the biggest influences on your career choice of golf?
My parents exposed me to golf at a young age. Even though I didn't make golf my career until my mid-20s it was always something I enjoyed.
Tell us about your career accomplishments since graduation.
Since graduation I have gained employment at a top 50 standalone facility and have recently begun to teach the game.
What are your career goals and how do you think your education at Golf Academy of America is helping you achieve them?
In the next year I hope to enter the PGM program through the PGA of America. I feel as though GAA has given me the skills to make it through the first level if the program with ease.
