Golf Academy of America Teams Take Three Of The Top Eleven Spots At The NCCGA Spring 2015 National Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., April 29, 2015 — The Golf Academy of America's club golf teams qualified and participated in this year's NCCGA Spring National Championship tournament. Golf Academy of America took three of the top eleven spots overall; San Diego taking the fourth place, Dallas taking ninth, and Orlando taking eleventh. In addition, Golf Academy students earned three of the top ten individual golfer spots; Parker Dudley from Myrtle Beach campus taking number four, Brock Timion from Dallas taking number six, and Cory Pieper from Dallas taking number eight.
The San Diego, Calif., Orlando, Fla., Dallas, Texas teams and two players from the Myrtle Beach, S.C. campus qualified for the final round and faced off against 304 players from 50 other top schools on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26. The tournament took place at the Bryan Park Golf Course in Browns Summit, N.C.
The amateur teams are comprised of full-time Golf Academy of America students including Robert Chaplain, Sean Duckering, Ethan Heim, Andrew Ka-ne, Dominic Lizarraga, Riley Michaelis, Kevin Tahvonen, and Jeffery Weber from the San Diego campus; Debrian Haynes, Jeff Lowery, Michael Mader, Cory Pieper and Brock Timion and from the Dallas campus; and Garry Jabs, Chris Kelloway, Jesse Lewis, TJ Pezzulo, August Toudouze and Cody White from the Orlando campus. Also playing the championship tournament are Parker Dudley and Ryan Reynolds from the Myrtle Beach campus.
