Golf Academy of America Director and PGA Master Professional Tim Eberlein Receives Horton Smith Award for Improving Golf Industry Education
PHOENIX, February 11, 2015 – The Southwest PGA Section has announced Tim Eberlein, campus director of the Golf Academy of America's Phoenix, Ariz. campus, as the recipient of the 2015 Horton Smith Award. Eberlein, received the award for his contributions to improving education opportunities for PGA golf professionals.
During the four years that Eberlein served as education chair of the Southwest Section PGA Board of Directors, he coordinated 40 PGA section education seminars and two education/teaching summits.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — February 3, 2015 — The Golf Academy of America Myrtle Beach, S.C. campus has announced the opening of its new location on Mr. Joe White Avenue in the heart of Myrtle Beach on Jan. 26, 2015 to provide a new and improved learning environment for those eager to jump into the golf industry.
