A great deal of learning goes on every day at Golf Academy of America's campuses across the United States. So does a lot of golf. Check out some of the fine area facilities Golf Academy of America in Dallas students can experience during their four semesters.
Brookhaven Country Club – A member of the illustrious ClubCorp family, Brookhaven Country Club encompasses 54 holes of golf over three courses — the Masters, President's and Championship Courses. Local magazine Avid Golfer has long rated it one of the best-value clubs to join in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and Golf Academy of America students have had access to the course since the Dallas campus opened.
Canyon Creek Country Club – Located in Richardson, Canyon Creek Country Club is a private retreat with a championship golf course designed by Press Maxwell. At 6,500 yards, par 70, the course is not the longest in the area, but it demands sensible shotmaking and strategy in order for players to record good scores.
Hackberry Creek Country Club – Located in Irving, Hackberry Creek is a ClubCorp club that boasts a Byron Nelson-designed course that measures a stout 7,013 yards from the longest set of tees. Accompanied by a Joe Finger-designed practice facility, Hackberry Creek is one of the best places to fine-tune golf skills in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Lantana Golf Club – Set at the heart of a vibrant, master-planned residential community encompassing more than 1,700 acres, Lantana Golf Club has a challenging but fair layout designed by the father/son team of Jay and Carter Morrish. The scorecard lists five separate tee yardages, all the way up to a maximum of 7,147 yards.
Las Colinas Country Club – Located in Irving, Las Colinas Country Club is one of the jewels in the ClubCorp crown of Dallas/Ft. Worth-area golf facilities. The championship course is a Joe Finger design that hosts the George W. Bush Presidential Center's annual Warrior Open golf tournament, won multiple times by Golf Academy of America alumnus and Golf Channel's Big Break contestant Chad Pfeifer.
Stonebridge Ranch Country Club – With 45 holes of golf — 18 by Pete Dye and 27 by Arthur Hills — Stonebridge Ranch is one of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area's most comprehensive golf and country club facilities, located in the town of McKinney. Both courses feature beautiful Bermuda fairways and spectacularly maintained bent grass greens, which are favored by members and Golf Academy of America students alike.
Golf Academy of America students at the Dallas campus have the opportunity to take advantage of courses that people travel from all over the world to experience. With access to tee-times at these sophisticated and unique courses, a student's golf game is sure to soar.
